Freemasonry

A history of partnership with Freemasonry

Lifelites was conceived in 1999 as a Millennium Project within the Royal Masonic Trust for Girls and Boys. It rapidly gained prominence by providing networked computers for every children’s hospice in the UK.

Lifelites has been a well-established and separately registered charity since 2006. It remains a proud partner of Freemasons, working closely with Lodges, Provinces and Lodge Associations to raise funds for technology packages and our unique training and support services.

Every year, the generosity and kindness of Freemasons throughout Britain and Ireland help gift thousands of children with life-limiting conditions the opportunity to experience moments of joy and connectivity that they may never have had before.

We are a favoured choice for Freemasons because donations can be used to fund specific projects in your province. This results in the impact of your support being felt by families and palliative care services across your local community.

How you and your fellow Freemasons can change the lives of children and families in your province

Our projects are provided on an ongoing basis, so there is a constant demand for our technology, bespoke training and maintenance, which means we always need vital funds.

If you are a Freemason who passionately believes that children with complex life-limiting conditions should be able to enjoy a childhood of fun, happiness and connectivity, then please consider supporting us in any of the following ways:

  • Encourage your Master to choose Lifelites as their charity for their year or have a Lodge collection for Lifelites. Maybe it could become a regular collection on your annual calendar.
  • Ask your PGM to hold an appeal for a local Lifelites project or donate from your PGM fund.
  • If you are a member of one of the Freemason special interest groups like Widows Sons Motorbike Association, or golf, cycling, classic car or clay shooting, you could choose Lifelites as your chosen charity.
  • Could your Provincial Charity consider a funding application from Lifelites for a specific project?
  • We would love to come and speak at your Lodge, Province or Charity Stewards meeting to tell you more about our work and our long partnership with Freemasonry.

If you or your brethren would like to speak to someone at Lifelites about any of these opportunities – or an idea of your own – then please get in touch by completing this simple form or calling us on 0207 440 4200.
