For disabled children with short lives, having fun and making memories matter but they often struggle to play with high street toys. Newlife loans specialist toys to make a difference to these children’s lives, through our Play Therapy Pod service.  Our “Pods” enable children, parents and carers to try a range of sensory toys that they wouldn’t otherwise have access to, or be able to afford.

Lifelites funding would help create a range of new ‘Tech Pods’ that are more interactive with switch devices to help disabled children with limited movement as well as light and sound toys. The Tech Pods will help children to play, develop new skills, interact and have fun with their siblings and parents. Funding will also help us take tech toys into community settings, running pop-up events so that we can reach even more disabled and life-limited children.
